The International Football Union is an international organization focused on connecting people, cultures, and countries through sport. From the Netherlands, we build bridges between different football communities and create talent development programs, with a particular focus on women’s and youth football.
The organization supports international cooperation, sports exchanges, and social initiatives in which sport is used as a means for development, education, and connection.
By collaborating with federations, academies, clubs, diplomatic partners, and international organizations, we strive for sustainable sports development and the creation of opportunities for the next generation of athletes.
Our Mission
Our mission is to create international sports platforms where talent development, knowledge sharing, and cultural exchange take center stage.
By connecting clubs from different countries through tournaments and exchange projects, athletes are given the opportunity to develop in diverse conditions and playing styles. This creates an environment where players not only improve but also learn to think and perform more broadly.
Our Vision
We believe that sport is a powerful tool for connecting people, playing styles, and ideas. Differences in climate, culture, and football philosophy—from Europe to the Middle East and Africa—offer opportunities to learn from one another.
Through this international cross-pollination of knowledge, tactics, and experience, we help athletes and clubs reach their full potential and collectively achieve a higher level.
Our vision is to build a strong international network where collaboration leads to growth, innovation, and the development of young talent. 🌍 Collaborations with clubs worldwide
We connect clubs around the world through international tournaments, exchange projects, and knowledge sharing between athletes, coaches, and organizations.
These collaborations make it possible to train talent in different environments and learn from one another, allowing players, staff, and clubs to continue to develop.

AS FAR Rabat in the Netherlands: International cooperation in practice.
In 2025, IFU, as the initiator and lead organizer of this international sports project, realized a special and historic visit to the Netherlands by the Moroccan women’s national team Association Sportive des Forces Armées Royales (AS FAR).
History was made with this initiative: for the first time, a Moroccan women’s football team visited the Netherlands for international matches.
The visit began with an official reception of the entire Moroccan delegation at the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco in The Hague, where the team was welcomed as guests of honor. This special moment was dedicated to recognition, hospitality, and strengthening ties between the two countries.
During their stay, the team played a three-match series against Ajax Women and KRC Genk Women at Sportcomplex De Toekomst (Ajax’s training complex) in Amsterdam. These matches focused on sporting development, knowledge sharing, and international connection. This project was organized by IFU in collaboration with the Dutch Embassy in Rabat and with the involvement of diplomatic partners, who supported this international initiative.
With this project, IFU confirms its role as an initiator and organizer of international sports projects, focusing on connection, development, and sustainable partnerships.
